The Friends of B.F. Jones is a committee of volunteers that work to introduce and sponsor fundraising events and programs for the benefit of B.F. Jones Memorial Library. The primary goal of the Friends is to provide an annual gift to B.F. Jones for their general fund and to sponsor project work that is not within the budget of the Library. The committee works in concert with the Director of the Library and the Board of Directors to identify the most important projectsfor the Friends to consider sponsoring.

A secondary goal of the committee is to sponsor events that foster and support children’s programs and community involvement. The committee has been in existence for about 40 years. As a testament to the dedication of this group of volunteers, several of the founding members are still very active on the committee.
