The Friends of B.F. Jones Memorial Library is a committee of volunteers that works to introduce and sponsor fundraising events and programs for the benefit of B.F. Jones Memorial Library. The primary goal of the Friends is to provide an annual gift to the Library for their general fund, and to sponsor project work that is not within the budget of the Library. The committee works in concert with the Director of the Library and the Board of Directors to identify the most important projects for the Friends to consider sponsoring. A secondary goal of the committee is to sponsor events that foster and support children’s programming and community involvement.

The committee, in some form, has served B.F. Jones Memorial Library for the last forty years. As a testament to the dedication of this group of volunteers, several of the founding members remain active.
